Instrospect is a not-for-profit community-based youth development agency serving the Chicago communities of Austin, Garfield Park, Lawndale, Lower and Near West Side and the near western suburbs of Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Maywood, Bellwood, Broadview and Berkeley. Introspect provides educational and employment services to youth. Although targeted to youth from academically and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, services are provided on a no-decline basis. Education services include academic and vocational advisement, financial aid guidance, ACT and SAT test preparation, post-secondary placement. Employment programs include pre-employment skills training, job referral and placement. Population Served: ages 11 to 21 years old.
