Through this program, 23 full-time counseling positions are provided to 12
sites. These counselors provide supportive counseling to targeted youth aged
14-24 who are attending ASN high schools and learning centers. The program
provides individual, group, family, health, and advocacy counseling. The goal
of the program is to keep the participants in school until they complete high
school or obtain a GED.
This program is funded through the City of Chicago Mayor’s
Office of Workforce Development.
